Geodiversity assessment methods with emphasis on multi-criteria analysis

The lecture focused on the definition, context, assessment and interpretation of geodiversity in mountainous areas. Considerations of geodiversity were supported by examples from the Alps, the Carpathians, the Tatra Mountains and one of the catchment areas of the Giant Mountains in the Sudetenland, for which geodiversity has been defined in the digital approach. The geodiversity of selected Mediterranean islands in the context of cultural geo-repertoire were also presented.
